A DEATH IN CRYPTOLAND

I have listened to a couple podcasts about cryptocurrency, but this one being focused on a Canadian company made it extra interesting. I have been listening to CBC podcasts of late and they haven’t disappointed. Highly recommend this podcast for a dive into a strange world, a death & and a lot of missing money.

What I have reading... 

A WISE MAN’S FEAR

If you were here last month you know I had read Book 1 and loved it. Book 2 dives deeper into Kvothe’s life after he takes a break from university. He goes on adventures, saves the Maer and meets Felurian.  It definitely has spots where it drags a little, but I am still very invested and will be patiently, or not so patiently, wait for Book 3!

What I have watching... 

BOTTLE ROCKET

I have become obsessed with Wed Anderson! I like to see an artist from their start, so I burned through his first 3 films and I love each of them. Wes has such a special gift for slow film making/writing, he doesn’t rush through uncomfortable parts, he les them sit. I love that so much, it makes the film more real and raw.

What I have been doing...

VACAY @ THE COTTAGE

Every year the beau and I take time away from our lives to live at the cottage. No internet, lots of fresh air, book reading, movie watching, it is perfect! I finally learned how to drive the boat this year, and even though the weather has been a little sketchy it was a needed break.

What I have been working on... 

THREADED X BLEACHED part 2

This time around I really wanted to push my bleached and dyeing skills even further. I implemented new techniques, no tools to apply the bleach and even played with the time the bleach sets. They all turned out amazing and super unique. 28 tees dropping tomorrow evening @ 8pm.
