Silent Summer

I adore shooting editorials. It is a way for me to express myself and show Copious in a different light. I get to dream up this whole world, set a mood and take all my #copiouspeople along with me. Editorials are always collaborative and Kaja and I love to work with models again and gain, so when we started dreaming of Silent Sumner we instantly thought of Sophie. She originally walked in my first runway show back in 2013 at Ottawa Fashion Week. It was also her first runway show and throughout the whole process she was grateful, professional and she had a GREAT runway walk. I subsequently put her in every OFW show because of her talent, and when we reconnected in Toronto at the OOAK Show, I knew we needed to work together again. Shooting Silent Summer was a great day spent with creatives. Between Kaja and I honing looks and Sophie making each photo pop with her incredible makeup styling. Being surrounded and working with these artistic women was invigorating!
